Texas Association of Partners in Education honoured two outstanding members of Round Rock ISD with crystal awards – the highest award level – the Texas Education Association Awards Luncheon on January 26. St. David’s Community Health Foundation and State Farm Insurance both received Crystal Award for his work with RRISD students.
Each tape Year category recognizes exemplary partners and partnership programs statewide. Award winners represent the volunteers, community organizations, government agencies, colleges, businesses and schools, whose commitment to education associations of young people have made a positive impact in their communities, according to the press release of 26 January.
From St. David’s Community Health Foundation receives Crystal Award for Community Association – Class of dental health for this program. Community Fleet St. David’s Dental Health Foundation Mobile Dental Clinic program working with schools to promote good dental health. The impact of students’ awareness of dental health programs by detecting, dental procedures and dental education class.
State Farm Insurance received the Crystal Award from the Association of Business – class mother who recognizes the collaborative efforts that have demonstrated a positive impact on the development of students in science, technology, engineering or math.
State Farm has become an advocate of service learning in districtand State Farm Youth Advisory Board is headed by State Farm to help design and implement an annual service of $ 5 million-learning initiatives. In 2009, State Farm YAB McNeil High School with a total grant of $ 95,568 to implement the “Green Cell” service learning project.
McNeil Green Club to adopt a school in portable buildings, such as solar energy demonstration site in an effort to save energy and draw attention to the district’s first “Green Cell” portable buildings. State Farm Club YAB has prompted efforts to promote the use of alternative sources of green power and low cost method to improve energy efficiency in RRISD and society.

Perrin-Whitt ISD: Opening at 10:00 AM.
Poolville ISD: Closed.
Springtown ISD: Opening at 10:00 AM.
Stephenville ISD: Closing at 1:30 PM.
