PM-CJ meeting ends crisis Updated at: 2230 PST,  Wednesday, February 17, 2010 ISLAMABAD: The government has withdrawn the notification about the elevation of Chief Justice of Lahore High Court as Supreme Court judge. On the recommendation of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, two permanent judges and one ad-hoc judge have been appointed to the Supreme Court. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the current tension between judiciary and government has now ended.
