OU Provost Pam Benoit has selected Dianne Bouvier as the next Ombuds for the 20,000 student public university. Benoit said that Bouvier’s history with the University make her ideal for the position. “She impressed me and the search committee with her professionalism and willingness to dedicate herself to the mediation and problem-solving that is at the heart of the ombudsman’s role.” Bouvier is currently the Assistant Director of Institutional Equity and served as Assistant Ombuds from 1995 to 2002.
